Game 1 - Paint Factory Color Sorter

Number of Players:

2-6 players

Suitable Age:

5 years and older

Playing Time:

15-45 minutes

Introduction

What's your favorite color? The Multi Playing Cards has different colors for you in field 8. This game is a variation on the game quartet.  So sort your colors and be the first to collect two sets of four cards with the same color.

What do you need?

One set of Multi Playing Cards.

Set up

Choice a dealer, who will shuffle the cards. The dealer then gives every player 5 cards and make a drawpile from the rest of the cards.
Get 2 sets of 4 same colors.

Basic Rules

The goal of the game is to collect two sets of four cards with the same color. Every players has five cards in their hands. The dealer starts the game by laying one card with one color face up in front of him. After that he selects a card and put it onto the discard pile and draw two new ones from the drawpile. This action ends his turn and the next player can start.

A new color row can only be started when that color is not already on the table at your playfield or at the playfield of the other players. A player can only have two colors on the table and one complete set. When a second complete set is formed, that player wins the game. Put the set together and lay them aside.

If a player can not play a (new) color from hand, all cards in hand go onto the discard pile and the player draws five new cards. This continues till the player can lay down a card. If there are no more cards on the pile left the player will end his turn.

If the drawpile runs out of cards, just take the discardpile, (do not shuffle the cards) and use it as a new drawpile.

Rainbow Cards

There are three rainbow cards in play. The rainbow card counts for every color.

Players can steel rainbow cards on table from other players, if they have the right color in hand. The player lays down the right color in the set and takes the rainbow card in hand. Players may steal all rainbow cards on table in there own turn, if they have the matching color.

A set can beformed with a variaty of color and rainbow cards. In other words you can use more than one rainbow card to form a set. Note that a Rainbow card can be stolen by another players after a set is complete.

Tips

  • Every player gets 4 cards instead of 5.

  • Every player makes 3 sets or more of 4 same colors.

We wish you a lot of color sorting fun. Good luck!

Game 2 - Color Memory Runner

Number of Players:

2-6 players

Suitable Age:

5 years and older

Playing Time:

15-45 minutes

Introduction

What's your favorite color? The Multi Playing Cards has different colors for you in field 8.

What do you need?

One set of Multi Playing Cards. Sort all colors, so that you'll have 13 sets of 4 same colors and 3 rainbow cards now.

Pawns (or use a second set of Multi Playing Cards)

Set up

Set aside one card of each color (including the rainbow cards), face down in the middle of the table. Shuffle all remaining cards and placed them face up in a circle on the table around the face down cards.

Basic Rules

The goal of the game is to "walk" around the board with your pawn. If you manage to pick the right color out of the faced down cards you can move your pawn one step forward.

Every player takes a pawn and places it on one of the face up cards in the circle. The distance between each pawn has to be the same. The same number of cards to the right as on the left.

Play clockwise. All players take a look at the color on the card next to the one their pawn stands on at that moment.

The first player starts by turning one of the face down cards on the table. If the color of the card in the middle matches the color of the card next to the one your pawn is standing on, you can move your pawn to that next card. The card you took from the middle has to be put back in the same position and face down once again. If you choose correctly, your turn continues. If you we're wrong (and the colors didn't match) your turn is over.

If you manage to make it around the board, you have won the game. Congratulations!

Tips

Look at which colors the other players are turning.

Use the first letter of the color names for positions. Like Cyan for Centre. If its there of course. Or Rainbow Right. Or use other tricks to remember where the colors are.

We wish you a lot of joy, combo's and gameplay with the playing cards. Good luck!
