Introduction

Score points by making words.

What do you need?

One set of Multi Playing Cards

Set up

Use the cards 1 – 55. Randomly choose a dealer who then shuffles the cards thoroughly and deals seven cards to every player. Te rest of the crads will be placed, face down, in a draw pile.

Every card has the image of a scrabble stone in symbol field 16. On this stone a letter is shown, along with the points this letter will score when used to make a word.

Basic Rules

The goal of the game is to earn points by forming words. Starting with the dealer and playing clockwise, every player may create a word during his or her turn. Count the points of the entire word you just formed and write them down. After scoring your word, draw new cards until you once again have seven cards in hand.

All subsequent players will have to use one of the letters from the word or words already on the table to start their own word. So no player can just put a word on the table that does not make use of one of the letter on the table. Words must be spelled out horizontally from left to right or vertically downwards. You may not spell words horizontally from right to left or vertically, upwards.

Please note that all words must be existing words. The double blank card can be used as any letter you desire, but will give 0 points when scoring the word.

If there are no more cards in the draw pile and none of the players can form additional words, the game ends. All players compare points and the player with the most points wins.

Variations

- Use the double blank card as a bad luck card. The card will do nothing. It can only be thrown away and picked up by another player.
- You can combine this game with other games on the Multi Playing Cards.

We wish you a lot of word-forming fun. Good luck!
